Simply place the meter in the palm of your hand and grip it lightly.

The coloured liquid inside the monitor will magically react to your hand and the liquid will rise.

If you're a Ravenclaw, the liquid will flow quickly to the top and 'boil' over. 

You'll see the liquid bubbling way, you're a Ravenclaw.
